Melanie Oviedo Jiménez

She studies Microbiology and Clinical Chemistry at the University of Costa Rica. The project in which she is working consists in evaluating the feasibility of implementing a biological control strategy in Costa Rica based in the infección of Aedes mosquitos by the intracelular bacteria Wolbachia sp. Her interests are: bacteriology, inmunology and molecular biology.
